Seats for Forklifts Renton - Located in the state of Washington is the King County city of Renton. Renton is located 21 km southeast of Seattle in an area known as the Eastside. The city serves as a manufacturing center and supports a population of around 91,000 people. Renton lies along lake Washington's southeast shore. The city of Renton is the 9th biggest city within Washington State and 4th most populous metropolis in King County.

Established during the 1860s, Renton was incorporated as a city in 1901. Erasmus M. Smithers discovered coal here during the 1800s. Timber and coal resources were plentiful, and both timber processing and mining became the primary economic industries within the area. The city was a supply center for the Newcastle coal fields. The city's proximity to the Cedar and Black Rivers made the city vulnerable to floods until the construction of the Lake Washington Ship Canal during 1916 lowered Lake Washington's level a few feet. The Cedar River was diverted to Lake Washington and eliminated the drainage through the Black River.

Renton ranks 100th of 522 areas within Washington State based on per capita income. The city has a lot of technology businesses such as Paccar, Boeing, and some dot-com ventures. IKEA moved to Renton during the year 1994 and in the year 2007 a branch of the Federal Aviation Administration (or also called FAA) established itself here. In the year 2008, a new branch of the Federal Reserve Bank moved to the city of Renton.

There are a wide variety of retail and residential developments in the city and the city has just recently undergone several revitalization projects. Among the most significant is the Virginia Mason Athletic Center (or also known as VMAC), housing the Seattle Seahawks training facility and headquarters, finished during 2008. This is the 2nd largest NFL facility. Situated within north Renton, the Center has an area of 19,000 m2.
