Additionally, the University Of Oregon Museum Of Natural History provides tourists exhibits about natural history and anthropology.

For the public, there is an extensive outdoor park system in the city. Alton Baker Park is among the biggest of the developed parks within the city. Amongst the most beautiful parks in the region is the Hendricks Park. Other parks include Owen Memorial Rose Garden, Spencer Butte and the Fern Ridge Reservoir. With over twenty eight miles of off-street paths, the city of Eugene has a high population of residents who enjoy to ride the bike. There are 4 bicycle bridges that cross the Willamette River and 78 miles of on-street bicycle lanes.

Kentucky Falls is located 45 miles west of the city of Eugene and is a place where hiking could be enjoyed. There are 3 waterfalls at the park to be enjoyed and viewed. For those who choose recreational activities during the winter, the Hoodoo Ski Area and Willamette Pass Ski Area are superb locations for the entire family.
