Seats for Forklifts Colorado

Seats for Forklifts Colorado - The US state of Colorado is situated in the northeastern section of the Colorado Plateau on the western edge of the Great Plains overlooking the Rocky Mountains. The state is part of the Mountain States in the Western United States.

The state was named for the Colorado River, that early Spanish explorers named the Rio Colorado for the red colored silt the river carried from the mountains. On the 1st of August, 1876, U.S. President Ulysses S. Grant signed a proclamation admitting Colorado as the 38th state. The state of Colorado is nicknamed the "Centennial State" as it was admitted to the Union as the 38th state during 1876, the centennial year of the United States Declaration of Independence.

The state of Colorado is surrounded by the northwest state of Wyoming towards the north, the Midwest states of Nebraska and Kansas towards the east and northeast, on the south by New Mexico and a small portion of the southern state of Oklahoma, and on the west by Utah. The four states of New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, and Utah meet at one common point called the Four Corners, that is called the heart of the American Southwest. Colorado State is one of only three U.S. states with no natural borders, the others being nearby Utah and Wyoming.

The state of Colorado is known for its vivid landscape of mountains, forests, high plains, mesas, canyons, plateaus, rivers, and desert lands. Based on the United States Census in the year 2010, the population is just over 5,000,000. There was an increase of 16.92% ever since the 2000 United States Census. The capital and most populous city in Colorado is Denver. Residents of Colorado are called "Coloradans", though the archaic term "Coloradoan" is still utilized.

The Bureau of Economic Analysis estimates that the total state product in 2010 was $257.6 billion. Per capita personal income during the year 2010 was $51,940, ranking Colorado State 11th in the country. The economy of Colorado State broadened from its mid-19th century roots in mining when irrigated agriculture developed, and by the late 19th century, raising livestock had become vital. Early industry was based on the extraction and processing of agricultural products and minerals. Present agricultural products are cattle, wheat, corn, hay and dairy products.

The state of Colorado has significant hydrocarbon resources. Based on the Energy Information Administration, Colorado hosts seven of the country's 100 largest natural gas fields and two of its 100 biggest oil fields. Conventional and unconventional natural gas output from several Colorado basins normally account for over half of yearly U.S. natural gas production. Colorado's oil shale deposits hold an estimated 1 trillion barrels (160 km3) of oil - practically as much oil as the whole world's proven oil reserves; the economic viability of the oil shale, however, has not been demonstrated.

Colorado's high Rocky Mountain ridges and eastern plains provide wind power potential, and geologic activity in the mountain areas provides potential for geothermal power development. Much of the state is sunny and could produce solar power. Major rivers flowing from the Rocky Mountains offer hydroelectric power resources. Corn grown within the flat eastern area of the state offers potential resources for production of Ethanol.
