Seats for Forklifts New Hampshire

Seats for Forklifts New Hampshire - New Hampshire is a state in the New England area of the northeastern United States of America. The state was named after the southern English county of Hampshire. It is surrounded by Massachusetts towards the south, Vermont to the west, Maine and the Atlantic Ocean to the east, and the Canadian province of Quebec to the north. The state of New Hampshire ranks 46th in total area of the 50 states, 42nd in population and 44th in land area.

It became the very first post-colonial sovereign nation within the Americas when it broke off from Great Britain in January the year 1776, and was among the original thirteen states which founded the United States of America six months later. In the month of June 1788, it became the ninth state to ratify the United States Constitution, bringing that document into effect. New Hampshire was the first U.S. state to have its own state constitution.

"Live Free or Die" is the states motto and is carried on license plates. Another state nickname is "The Granite State," which is a reference to the states tradition of self-sufficiency and its geology.

The major recreational attractions of the state of New Hampshire, include: snowmobiling, skiing as well as other winter sports, hiking and mountaineering, summer cottages along the many lakes and the seacoast, motor sports at the New Hampshire Speedway, observing the fall foliage. The state also hosts Motorcycle Week, which is popular motorcycle rally held during the month of June, at Weirs Beach near Laconia. The White Mountain National Forest links the Maine and Vermont regions of the Appalachian Trail, and boasts the Mount Washington Auto Road, where visitors could drive to the top of 6,288-foot (1,917 m) Mount Washington.

The state of New Hampshire has a projected total state product of $60 billion during 2008, based on the Bureau of Economic Analysis. This ranks as the 40th biggest state economy in the nation. During that very same year, the median household income ranked 7th highest in the US, at $49,467. Its agricultural outputs are nursery stock, dairy products, cattle, apples and eggs. Its industrial outputs are machinery, electric equipment, rubber and plastic products and tourism.

New Hampshire experienced a significant shift in its economic base in the last century. Historically, the base consisted of the traditional New England manufactures of textiles, shoe making, and small machining shops drawing upon low-wage labor from parts of Quebec and from nearby small farms. These days, these sectors contribute just 2% for textiles, 2% for leather goods, and 9% for machining of new Hampshire's total manufacturing dollar value. They experienced a sharp decline due to obsolete plants and the lure of cheaper wages in the South.

According to the Energy Information Administration, New Hampshire's energy consumption and per capita energy consumption are among the lowest in the US. The Seabrook Station Nuclear Power Plant, located near Portsmouth, is the largest nuclear reactor in New England and provides around 30% of New Hampshire's electricity. Two natural gas-fired plants and some fossil-fuel powered plants, like the coal-fired Merrimack Station plant in Bow, provide most of the rest.
